Virtual Workshop Request Form

Emmanuel admissions counselors can provide three different types of programs, either during a daytime class session or in the evening for both students and parents. Descriptions of our most common workshops are below and we are happy to work with counselors or teachers to tailor a program specific to your students' needs and interests.

All workshops and information sessions are conducted in webinar format with a chat feature for real-time Q&A and discussion with the counselor presenting. A teacher or counselor may be added as a panelist to provide additional content or facilitate the Q&A. Students and parents will not be able to share video or audio.

    Application Preparation Review:
This presentation is designed to walk students through the overall application process, with information universally applicable to the college search, as well as insights into Emmanuel’s holistic review. This includes learning about the different types of applications, admissions decisions, requirements, and tips on how to effectively organize and understand the various components of the standard admissions application.

    College Essay Workshop:
Join an Emmanuel admissions counselor as they discuss what colleges look for in an application essay, dispelling myths and providing insight into this critical part of the admission process. Students will gain a better understanding of the essay's value and purpose, as well as learn tips for brainstorming topics and writing more effectively.

    Emmanuel Information Session:
These sessions are recommended for current Juniors and Sophomores who are beginning their college search process. The webinar will feature an admissions counselor and a current student who will share experiences from the Emmanuel College community while highlighting our academic and co-curricular programs.
