Emmanuel admissions counselors are pleased to provide a variety of college search programs, either during a daytime class session or in the evening for both students and parents. Descriptions of our most common webinars and workshops are below. We are also happy to work with counselors or teachers to tailor a program specific to your students' needs and interests.
All workshops and information sessions can be conducted virtually or in-person.
Emmanuel Information Session:
These sessions are recommended for rising Juniors and Seniors who are interested in learning more about Emmanuel and our admissions process. Similar to on-campus visit, the webinar will feature an admissions counselor and a current student who will share experiences from the Emmanuel College community while highlighting our academic and co-curricular programs.
These can also be conducted in-person with advanced notice.
Application Preparation Review
:
This presentation is designed to walk students through the overall application process, with information universally applicable to the college search, as well as insights into Emmanuel’s holistic review. This includes learning about the different types of applications, admissions decisions, requirements, and tips on how to effectively organize and understand the various components of the standard admissions application.
These can also be conducted in-person with advanced notice.
College Essay Workshop
:
Join an Emmanuel admissions counselor as they discuss what colleges look for in an application essay, dispelling myths and providing insight into this critical part of the admission process. Students will gain a better understanding of the essay's value and purpose, as well as learn tips for brainstorming topics and writing more effectively.
These can also be conducted in-person with advanced notice.
